Full job description

Job Summary

Our farm, situated between Devizes and Melksham, is principally a medium sized multi-unit business park with 33 Offices and Industrial Units, with solar panels fitted to the buildings.

As the site continues to grow, we are in need of an organised individual to assist the owner with the investigation, management and implementation of several diverse projects. This might suit a parent with children at school or someone between jobs looking for a part time or short term role.

Duties

1. Exploring New Development Opportunities

2. Expansion of Solar Panel capacity, Including the installation of Batteries

Essentially, we need an individual who can:

a. Establish contact with suitable specialist consultants

b. Source suppliers and service providers

c. Propose a plan and budget for project implementation

d. General administration tasks

Qualifications

Whilst no specific qualifications are required, an applicant who is not afraid to pick up the telephone and find information on subjects that they have no prior knowledge will be essential. Applicants should have a good standard of written English, be fully conversant with Excel spreadsheets and be able to manage different and diverse projects. Above all else, we are seeking a well organised individual.

A confident person with an inquisitive nature would be welcome. Hours of work are flexible. Hourly rate according to ability.

Pay: From £18.00 per hour
