Internal Sales RepresentativeWho are we?

Based in Hersham, Surrey, we are a growing company supplying specialist electrical products to the Oil & Gas industry. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our expanding team.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in estate agency, car sales, retail sales, business development, or other customer-facing sales environments who enjoy building relationships, generating new business, and achieving sales targets. Full product training will be provided.

About the Role

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, following up on sales opportunities, and identifying new business prospects. You'll work closely with the Sales Director while developing your own customer relationships and sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate quotations and proposals for customers.
Proactively follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates and close sales.
Generate new business through prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Deliver outstanding customer service by phone, email, and in person.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Support client meetings and occasional site visits when required.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to order completion.
Contribute towards achieving individual and team sales targets.

We're Looking For

Previous experience in sales is preferred, particularly in estate agency, car sales, retail sales, telesales, business development, or account management.
A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and target-driven.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
A proactive approach to generating and converting sales opportunities.
Ability to build rapport quickly and develop long-term customer relationships.
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a successful team.
Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
