Amica Care is excited to be opening our brand-new care home, Greenlands Meadow, in August 2026. We are now looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors and staff.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important part in supporting person-led care, maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection prevention, and contributing to a warm, homely atmosphere where residents' dignity and preferences are respected.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out daily and scheduled cleaning duties across resident, communal, staff and back-of-house areas to a high standard.
Maintain excellent hygiene standards, following infection prevention guidance, COSHH requirements and safe working practices.
Support laundry and linen processes, including collection, washing, drying, ironing and distribution.
Respect residents' dignity, privacy and preferences while helping to create a warm, homely environment.
Report any maintenance concerns, hazards, incidents or equipment issues promptly.
Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and wider home team, communicating clearly and positively.
Uphold Amica Care's values and complete training, meetings and reasonable duties as required.

About You:

We are looking for someone with experience in cleaning, domestic duties or a similar role, ideally within a care, health or hospitality setting. You will understand the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices, be reliable and organised, and take pride in completing tasks to a high standard. A positive team player, you will communicate well, treat residents, colleagues and visitors with kindness and respect, and bring a flexible approach that reflects Amica Care's values.
