Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Baker / Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing and baking bread doughs, along with a strong understanding of bakery operations. This role involves assisting in daily production, maintaining quality and consistency across baked goods, and supporting general kitchen tasks when needed. A passion for baking, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness and teamwork are essential.

Prepare, mix, and knead various bread doughs according to standard recipes and production schedules.
Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality.
Maintain accurate portioning, shaping, and finishing of all bakery items.
Assist with general kitchen duties, including cleaning, organising, and preparing ingredients.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
Support the wider kitchen team during busy periods as required.
