Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining a safe working environment, and achieving performance targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What will you do?

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining a safe working environment, and achieving performance targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Schedule shifts and assign tasks to team members based on workload and priorities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to support staff development.
Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to manage stock levels.
Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
Address and resolve any safety incidents or violations promptly.
Ensure the quality and integrity of incoming and outgoing goods.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory and shipments.
Implement quality control procedures to minimize errors and defects.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and execute operational strategies.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to optimize operations.
Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Warehouse Manager on team performance, inventory status, and operational issues.
Address and resolve any team or operational conflicts effectively.
Shift pattern: 7am-7pm, 4 days out of 7

What do you need?

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Forklift certification (Reach, CB, VNA)
