Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team at Ciao! You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Barista experience is a key requirement!

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and provide support as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista is essential.
Someone who can make Flat whites, cappuccino, lattes etc confidently and in a fast paced environment!
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
Also must be available to work flexible days and hours.
Someone who is confident, hardworking and reliable.
You will also learn how to do some kitchen prep such as making salads and filled baguettes etc.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
