Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 21:00 - 05:30 (40 hours per week flexibility required)

About the Role

As an NCG Road Agent, you'll play a key role in keeping DHL's UK and European transport network moving. You'll monitor shipments, coordinate operational activity, provide real-time updates, and work closely with colleagues, customers, and partners to ensure excellent service, network visibility, and smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

Represent DHL in a professional and efficient manner in order to increase customer satisfaction.
Support the field operations by ensuring all checkpoint have been applied for full network and customer visibility.
Gain the trust and support of wider linehaul teams, internal and external customers
Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to effectively and accurately capture and communicate movement details and updates to the network as per GSOP Compliances.
Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.
Use computer systems with numerous applications to ensure work is completed in accordance with company requirements.
Communicate with colleagues ensuring that service delivery levels are consistently high.
To help manage the day to day network operation (UK road and air network/ EU Road network).
To liaise with the operation team to ensure our standard processes and procedures are observed.
To report on any concerns that threaten the integrity of our security.
Adhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working Time Directive regulations and all company procedures.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required ie Yard duties/Winter Ops

What You’ll Bring

Full UK driving licence
Strong organisational and planning skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Administrative experience (preferred)
DHL operational knowledge (beneficial)
Logistics and supply chain knowledge (beneficial)
Proficiency in logistics systems/software (beneficial)
