Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and attentive Door Supervisor to help maintain the safety and security of our venue, staff, and guests. The successful candidate will be observant, level-headed, and committed to ensuring a secure and welcoming environment. This role offers the chance to work as part of a professional team focused on customer safety and positive visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise entry and exit points, carrying out appropriate checks on individuals entering the premises
Maintain a visible presence to discourage unauthorised access and inappropriate behaviour
Monitor activity using surveillance tools, including CCTV systems
Identify and respond to suspicious behaviour to support loss prevention efforts
Act promptly during incidents, including administering first aid when required
Enforce venue rules, policies, and legal requirements consistently
Accurately document incidents and communicate with relevant authorities when necessary
Support crowd management during busy periods or events to ensure safety and order

Requirements & Skills

Previous experience in security or a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance practices is an advantage
First aid certification or willingness to complete training is preferred
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify risks quickly
Clear and professional communication skills, both spoken and written
Ability to stay calm, professional, and diplomatic in challenging situations
Physically capable of standing for long periods and managing crowd interactions effectively
