Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will:
Lead surveillance testing programmes, analysing product performance, identifying risks, and driving improvements through data-led insights
Develop and validate metrology methods across dimensional, mechanical, and functional measurements
Take ownership of measurement system analysis (MSA), ensuring robust, accurate and compliant measurement processes
Design and optimise CMM programmes for complex, tight-tolerance components
Create and implement test protocols and technical procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Conduct hands-on testing and inspection, producing clear, evidence-based reports
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges and support audits

Skills/Experience:
We’re seeking a candidate who brings both strong technical expertise and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset:

Essential:
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field AND/OR Significant experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or measurement systems engineering
Proven ability in CMM programming (e.g. PC-DMIS, Calypso or similar)
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 within regulated manufacturing environments
Experience developing technical procedures, inspection plans, and test protocols
Expertise in statistical analysis, MSA, and capability studies

Desirable:
Experience working with pumps, tubing, or fluid-handling systems

You’ll also bring:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
A hands-on approach with testing equipment and measurement systems
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
Confidence presenting complex data to stakeholders and auditors
A proactive, structured approach with the ability to drive continuous improvement independently
