About the role

Could you lead one of the Isle of Man’s essential public services and keep it moving every day?

As Operational Transport Manager, you'll play a key role in the delivery of public transport services across the Island, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and responsive for both residents and visitors. Leading a large operational workforce through a team of supervisors, you'll be responsible for service performance, resource deployment, operational resilience and financial control, making decisions that have a direct impact on the travelling public.

You'll work closely with colleagues, local authorities and other stakeholders to drive service improvements, resolve challenges and maintain high standards across the network. Whether you're analysing performance data, improving processes or leading through change, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of public transport on the Isle of Man.

If you're an experienced operational leader with strong people management skills, sound judgement and a passion for delivering high-quality public services, we'd love to hear from you.
