Job Title: Bank Support Worker - Flexible (weekdays & weekends, minimum 25hours)

Service: Community Support Service - Finding and Matching

Salary: £14..80

Hours: Shifts are offered based on service needs and your availability (please note that shift work entails, days, nights, weekends and bank holidays)

You’ll get to see the direct impact you are making by offering children and adults of all ages with learning disabilities the support they need to enjoy the same rights, freedom, responsibilities, choices and quality of life as others within the wider community.

As a Support Worker, you will provide support to service users to ensure their safety, health and wellbeing. Duties will include support with day-to-day aspects such as shopping, meals, personal care, and attending appointments, as well as with leisure, social and physical activities, hobbies and personal interests with an emphasis on helping develop skills, confidence and relationships.

Ability to lone-work with minimum supervision, able to problem solve / think on feet, resourceful with creative ideas for support, good interpersonal skills, effective advocates for people with support needs.

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis.
