What Your Role Will Mean

Working closely with the Wellbeing Lead, the General Manager, and your fellow Wellbeing Team members, you will help shape a vibrant, meaningful activity programme that brings smiles, sparks confidence, and fosters genuine connection.

You will:

Create and deliver uplifting individual and group activities that reflect each resident’s personality, interests, and life story.
Support exciting outings, community events, and special celebrations that brighten residents’ days.
Collaborate with the wider Wellbeing Team to ensure engagement across all care settings — Residential, Nursing, and Dementia — so everyone feels included and valued.
Promote dignity, independence, and a sense of belonging through purposeful activity and warm, meaningful interaction.

Every day, together with your team, you will create moments that truly matter.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who embodies kindness, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for supporting older adults. Someone who understands that even the smallest gesture — a conversation, a shared laugh, a calming presence — can make a world of difference.

You will shine in this role if you are:

Warm, compassionate, energetic, and creative
A dedicated team player who enjoys collaborating with others
Confident communicating with people of all abilities, including those living with cognitive or communication challenges
Motivating, encouraging, and able to inspire engagement in both group and one-to-one settings
Eager to learn about dementia care and person-centred wellbeing
Comfortable using a computer for activity planning and record-keeping

Full training in Manual Handling, First Aid, and Dementia Awareness will be provided.

What You’ll Need

The physical ability to support residents with mobility, including pushing wheelchairs
Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota
