Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pasta Chef to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian food, culture and a deep understanding of culinary techniques. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and practical cooking skills within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

45 hours a week / 2,700 per month before tax + guaranteed minimum tips 360£ per month, can be much more/ depends of the sales

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Respond to customer feedback regarding meals, making adjustments as necessary to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting of 2 years
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Creative flair for developing new dishes while maintaining traditional recipes.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
