Overview

Join our vibrant dessert shop team as a Dessert Shop Assistant and become a key player in creating delightful sweet experiences for our customers! Duties

Assist in preparing and assembling a variety of desserts, including cakes, and specialty treats, following established recipes and standards
Support the food production process by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and decorating desserts with precision and creativity
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and refrigeration units, adhering to all safety protocols
Stock ingredients and supplies regularly to ensure smooth daily operations and minimize waste
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods while maintaining high-quality standards
Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to deliver safe, delicious desserts consistently

Experience

Prior experience in food production or food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or café setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued
Knowledge of baking techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen safety procedures is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices ensures safe handling of ingredients and equipment
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrates ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail for decorating desserts and maintaining quality standards
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork spirit
