Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our elderly care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well‑organised environment for older residents in our care. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of elderly clients. The Residential Manager will play a vital part in coordinating care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Duties

Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the residential facility, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with relevant regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance, mentoring, and training as necessary.
Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes residents’ emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records related to care plans, incident reports, and daily logs.
Manage administrative tasks related to the residential facility's operation, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with the elderly or in a residential care setting is highly desirable.
Valid driving licence.
Experience in creating and managing care plans tailored to individual needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ideally, the candidate will hold NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
