Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Managing Director to lead our Short-Term Rental and Property Management division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire portfolio of rental properties, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership will drive growth, optimize property performance, and foster a collaborative team environment dedicated to delivering top-tier service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our property management business while maintaining a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to expand and enhance the short-term rental portfolio, aligning with company goals and market trends
Lead, motivate, and supervise a diverse team of property managers, leasing agents, maintenance staff, and support personnel to ensure high performance and engagement
Oversee day-to-day operations including guest relations, property maintenance, cleaning standards, and compliance with local regulations
Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, expense control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, partners, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth operations
Implement best practices for property marketing, pricing strategies, occupancy rates, and guest satisfaction metrics
Monitor industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery

Skills

Proven management experience with a track record of leading large teams in property or hospitality management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative work environment
Supervising experience in operational settings with a focus on customer service excellence
Financial management expertise including budgeting, financial analysis, revenue management, and cost control
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels
Ability to develop strategic initiatives that drive growth while maintaining operational efficiency
Knowledge of local regulations related to short-term rentals and property management
