Digital Marketing Executive

Alphabond Technologies Ltd — Sales and Marketing | Reports to CEO | Manages the marketing function

Hours: 40/week, 5 days, 08:00–16:30, lunch 12:00–12:30

About the role

Alphabond develops adhesives used across food and beverage, construction, bookbinding, and personal care. You'll own delivery of the marketing plan, working daily with the part-time onsite marketer to keep the team focused on the right tasks — social, Eshots, content, and the new website launch.

The number one measure of success in this role is generating qualified leads from target prospects.

A day in the life

Team huddle at 08:00 — surface challenges, flag downtime or disruption, share updates on new systems, campaigns, and Eshots going out that day
Shout about big wins landing as leads, and chase up on leads already passed to sales
Daily check-in with the onsite marketer to align on priorities
Hands-on with video editing, social content, Eshot admin, and tracking progress on the website stagegates

ResponsibilitiesAreaWhat's involvedTargetThought leadershipUse OEM relationships, networking, exhibitions and events to build Alphabond as the thought leader on optimising customers' 4P — tailored to target personas (engineering, operations, etc.)—European expansionSupport marketing across all channels to grow market share in other countries—Marketing automationAutomate repeat activities (email marketing, LinkedIn, etc.) using AI—Social mediaCreate quality LinkedIn posts — video, technical, product — via Adobe Express3–5 quality posts/weekWebsitesDrive MQL volume via the TAYA approach (Marcus Sheridan); use AI and SEO to rank for key terms (e.g. downtime elimination, blocked nozzles)—Product launchesOwn and support the technical team on new technology launches, with marketing collateralTrack hard launches/yearEshotsCreate Eshot + follow-up campaigns tied to telemarketing follow-up; keep CRM clean (bounces, new contacts)1–2 campaigns/month generating qualified leads that convertWhitepapers & blogsCreate value-add technical content for the Alphabond blog, gated behind a contact form1–2 quality whitepapers/month, with videoVideo contentProduce testimonial and "how it works" videos1–2 quality videos/monthCRM managementEnsure blogs/whitepapers are set up correctly and all leads are trackedAutomate workflows and Emarketing/webformsTechnical webinarsPull together SMEs to run webinars1/quarterLeads inQualify and track inbound leads10 qualified A*–C leads/monthAI automationAutomate repeatable admin tasks using AI—CRM/AI implementationSet up and implement HubSpot / GoHighLevel and associated workflows—Requirements

Must have:

5+ years' digital marketing experience, including Eshot creation and website building (particularly Shopify)
Degree qualified
Curious and willing to learn the technical side of adhesives
2+ years' experience writing technical whitepapers/blogs
Videography and photography experience, especially Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut
Experience installing and using CMS/digital marketing software (e.g. HubSpot)
Experience in social media planning and scheduling

Nice to have:

Marketing or Chemistry degree
A-level in a science subject
Project management training (e.g. Prince2)
