Home Support (Short Term Intervention)

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Support Managers in Home First Community to lead a team delivering high-quality home support services to adults with short-term reablement needs. One post is permanent and the other is temporary for 12 months.

In this role, you will play a vital part in helping people maintain independence and remain safely in their own homes through a flexible, person-centred approach.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading and managing a team of Support Workers to deliver safe, responsive and high-quality care
Overseeing support plans tailored to individuals, including those with complex or changing needs
Ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory standards and best practice
Managing resources effectively to support efficient service delivery
Driving performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
Working collaboratively with partners and multidisciplinary teams
Supporting service development and contributing to strategic planning
Providing cover for other Support Managers and attending key meetings when required

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who can bring strong leadership and a passion for delivering excellent care outcomes.

You will have:

Experience managing or supervising staff in a social care setting
Experience supporting adults with complex needs
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of social care frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
Ability to manage resources effectively and drive performance
Excellent communication and partnership working skills
Confidence in using IT systems to support service delivery
Uk driving license, this is not essential however this post requires you to work with staff in the community across the city of Sheffield

Qualification:

NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
