Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the sales department through efficient administration, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and experience in sales administration. This is a paid position suitable for individuals eager to develop their career within a professional environment.

Working hours are 9 am until 5 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid break.

Duties

Manage and update customer information using CRM software to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Prepare and process sales documentation, including quotations, invoices, and order confirmations using Sage
Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate order fulfilment and delivery schedules
Assist in scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars using Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint as needed
Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email or phone, providing excellent customer service
Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation

Requirements

Proven experience in sales administration or related administrative roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software systems
Experience with Sage accounting software is desirable but not essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new programmes quickly
Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
High level of computer literacy and organisational ability to support sales operations effectively
Ability to work independently whilst being a proactive team player with good time management skills

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
