Location: Cartref Care Home - Shaw healthcare, Brecon Rd, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford HR3 5PJ

Salary: £13.67 per hour

Hours: 14 hour contracts

Shift Times: 06:45 - 14:15 & 13:45 - 21:15

Cartef is a care home in Hay-on-Wye, specialising in dementia care. The facility offers a comfortable, supportive environment with personalised care tailored to the needs of each resident. It focuses on providing high-quality care in a homely setting, ensuring that residents feel safe and well-cared for. The home also features communal spaces and activities designed to enhance the well-being and social engagement of its residents.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
