About Us

Heanor Phones is a growing electronics retail and repair business with multiple locations specialising in mobile phones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, accessories, and repairs. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, quality repairs, and helping customers find the right products for their needs.

The Role

We are looking for a confident, customer-focused individual with a technical background who enjoys both sales and technology.

This is not a technician role. We need someone who can sell, advise customers, book repairs, test devices, and help drive sales while understanding mobile phones and technology.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service

Greet and assist customers
Sell phones, tablets, accessories and services
Recommend suitable products and upgrades
Promote repairs and trade-in services
Process sales through the EPOS system
Handle customer enquiries in-store, by phone and online

Repair Administration

Book repairs accurately
Explain repair processes and pricing
Contact customers with updates
Manage collections and deposits
Maintain repair records

Device Testing & Technical Support

Test phones, tablets and laptops
Identify common faults
Carry out basic software troubleshooting
Assist technicians with diagnostics where required
Prepare devices for display and sale

Store Operations

Maintain a clean and professional showroom
Price and display stock
Stock checking and replenishment
Assist with social media content when required

Essential Requirements

Excellent customer service skills
Confident salesperson
Basic technical knowledge of phones, tablets and laptops
Good communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work independently
Comfortable using computers and EPOS systems

Preferred Experience

Previous phone shop experience
Retail sales experience
Experience booking repairs
Experience testing mobile phones
Experience with Facebook Marketplace, eBay or online sales
