Permanent | Year-Round | Full-Time or Part-Time (4-Day Week Available) | Up to £28,087 FTE (DOE)

We're looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. While no formal Early Years qualification is required, you'll have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting and a genuine passion for supporting young children during the most important years of their development.

What you'll be doing

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a key role in creating an environment where children feel valued, inspired and ready to thrive.

You'll:

Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage children to explore, discover and develop.
Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child feels happy, secure and confident.
Observe children's learning and development, contributing to planning activities that support their individual needs and interests.
Build warm, positive relationships with children, parents and carers, helping every family feel welcomed and supported.
Encourage children's communication, confidence, independence and social development through meaningful daily interactions.
Work alongside colleagues to maintain high standards of care, learning and professionalism across the nursery.
Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through everyday practice.
Help maintain accurate records and contribute to children's learning journeys where appropriate.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and children's wellbeing remain central to everything you do.

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for giving children the very best start in life.
A willingness to learn, develop and build a long-term career in Early Years.
