Job Overview

We are re-locating to new premises in Bilston and expanding our team. Come and join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packaging Machine or corrugator Operator and be at the forefront of producing high-quality products efficiently and safely. In this energetic role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain packaging machinery to ensure smooth production flow. Your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will contribute directly to our commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging machinery to meet daily production targets
Monitor machine performance, identify issues promptly, and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance
Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse setting, ensuring proper storage and movement of supplies
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in using packaging machinery in particular corrugated cardboard is essential
Skilled of hand tools, tooling, and basic math for precise measurements and adjustments
Experience with materials handling equipment and warehouse operations for efficient workflow management
Familiarity with manufacturing processes within a packaging environment
Good understanding of safety procedures related to machining, and materials handling
