Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those looking to develop their skills in commercial cleaning. The position is paid and suitable for organised, reliable individuals committed to providing exceptional service.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and reliability
Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
