Full job description

Receptionist/Food & Beverage Attendant

Job Overview

We are looking for human that can help out a couple days a week on reception and then help the Food & Beverage department for the rest of the week. Various shifts patterns can be accommodated. You will get to work at a culinary institute whose hotel holds 4 AA Red Stars and whose restaurant currently has 4 AA Rosettes and has held a Michelin Star for the last 27 years. You will get to experience a daily changing seven course menu featuring top quality local and international produce, a wide and varied wine list, as well as a charming historical building. In addition to this you will -

Manage and adapt to individual guest requests and preferences
Cover the front office desk, helping guests check in and out
Ensure dining areas are prepared to our standards prior to each service
Attend the daily Service briefings, to ensure you are knowledgeable about our daily changing menus
Using our Point-of-Sale system, ensuring accurate transactions
Working alongside the kitchen team and restaurant team to maintain a cohesive service
Work different shifts covering breakfast and lunch or dinner services
Make coffees, cocktails and serve other beverages (including wine)
Provide an exceptional service through your knowledge and passion for delivering a memorable dining experience

What you will bring:

Passionate about hospitality, demonstrated through your previous experience working in a Food and Beverage Attendant position in the hospitality industry
A team player who is caring, flexible and respectful, reliable, honest and engaged with excellent attention to detail,
Committed to delivering an amazing service creating moments and experiences to which guests can hardly wait to return

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
