At Hilton Belfast, we're looking for a Bar Manager who doesn't just run a bar, they create an atmosphere, lead from the front, and inspire a team to deliver unforgettable experiences.

Our bar is more than a place to grab a drink. It's where celebrations begin, business deals are toasted, weekends are started, and memorable guest experiences are created. We're searching for a passionate hospitality leader who can bring energy, personality, and commercial expertise to one of Belfast's most recognised hotel brands.

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week, across variable shifts, across Monday to Sunday, including evening and weekends

Your role

You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of growing fantastic teams by leading from the front, while keeping your guests at heart of everything that you do.

We are looking for someone that holds and enjoys maintaining high standards, with a keen attention for detail.

The ideal person for this role will be a true epicurean – a food and drink enthusiast, who maintains a solid and up-to-date understanding of the restaurant and bar scene.

As a Bar Manager, you will ensure the smooth operational running of our Bar in order to deliver an excellent and memorable experience for our guests.

You will work closely with Food & Beverage Manager and General Manager, leading and evolving the F&B operations at the hotel, driving revenue, and ensuring that brand standards are met, and guests’ expectations are exceeded.

The core skills and experience required to succeed

Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
Previous experience in working in highly acclaimed venues which have a reputation for great service;
Managing the day-to-day operations and activities within the Bar, ensuring the team deliver an exceptional experience for our guests;
Team player who communicates well with all colleagues;
Strong leadership and motivational skills which are capable of nurturing, developing and inspiring team members;
Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant or Bar Manager (ready for the step-up);
Excellent personal presentation;
A authentic and inspiring leader of people and business;
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
