Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor maintenance and construction projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the aesthetic appeal and functionality of landscaped areas, working under the guidance of experienced professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilising
Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and secateurs to carry out gardening activities
Using power tools and machinery like trimmers, blowers, and small excavators for site preparation and maintenance
Supporting irrigation system installation, repair, and upkeep to ensure efficient watering of landscaped areas
Conducting general site clean-up and waste removal to maintain tidy work environments
Assisting with construction activities such as setting up structures or pathways under supervision
Performing routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery
Supporting team members with various labouring duties on-site as required

Qualifications

Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and small machinery is advantageous
Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus
Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintaining high standards of work
A proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Valid relevant certification or qualifications in construction or horticulture are beneficial but not mandatory

This role is ideal for individuals eager to gain practical experience in landscaping and construction environments while contributing to visually appealing outdoor spaces.
