Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team at our wedding venue. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing friendly assistance to guests. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills. The position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant atmosphere while honing your customer service and culinary knowledge.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently with attention to detail
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and upselling menu items where appropriate
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, maintaining proper recordkeeping
Assist in food preparation or setup as required, adhering to food safety standards
Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the venue

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to create a welcoming environment for guests
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of service
