Pub Manager

Stamford and surrounding area
Rent Free Accommodation Included

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Pub Managers to run one of our traditional pubs and inns across the Stamford and Peterborough area. We operate a diverse estate ranging from village inns and community pubs to historic coaching inns. Each pub offers the opportunity to deliver genuine hospitality while maintaining the traditional values and standards for which Samuel Smith's is renowned.

These are hands-on management roles suited to individuals or couples who enjoy working directly with customers, leading by example, and creating welcoming environments where people can enjoy quality food, drink and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pub.
Creating a warm, welcoming and well-managed environment for customers.
Leading and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Managing food service operations where applicable and ensuring consistently high standards are maintained.
Upholding brewery policies, standards and values.
Promoting and maintaining the quality of Samuel Smith's beers and ales.
Basic financial administration, stock control and cellar management.
Ensuring the pubs are maintained to a high standard.
Building strong relationships within the local community and encouraging repeat business.

About You

Has previous experience managing a pub or hospitality business.
Is a confident leader with excellent customer service skills.
Takes pride in running a clean, welcoming and successful pub.
Has a genuine passion for traditional pubs and community hospitality.
Wants to play a key role in restoring a well-loved local landmark.
Willingness to live on-site.

What's On Offer

Salary £28,725 per person
Rent free accommodation with utility bills paid by the brewery
Training and ongoing support from our brewery in Tadcaster.
35 days annual holiday, including bank holidays.
