Job Overview
Vyta Restaurant is seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with reservations and seating arrangements.
Manage phone calls efficiently, taking reservations, answering enquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
Handle guest sitting
Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness of the reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and organised at all times.
Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Support team members during busy periods to maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
Knowledge of guest services principles and hospitality standards.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Friendly demeanour with a professional appearance.
Organised with good attention to detail.
Basic computer literacy for reservation systems and administrative tasks. This role offers an engaging work environment where interpersonal skills are valued, providing an excellent opportunity for those passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in the hospitality industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
