What you’ll be doing..

The Role:
As Café Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the café, ensuring exceptional food, beverage, and customer service standards while driving sales and maintaining a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and develop the café team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Manage the daily operation of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage wastage to achieve budget targets.
Prepare staff rotas and manage labour costs effectively.
Build strong relationships with the client and respond proactively to customer feedback.
Ensure the café is clean, welcoming, and presented to the highest standard at all times.
Support and deliver hospitality and special events as required.
Drive innovation by introducing seasonal offers and promoting sales opportunities.

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience managing a busy café or hospitality operation.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience managing budgets, stock control, and ordering.
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health & safety legislation.
A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
A passion for quality food, coffee, and creating memorable customer experiences.

Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 | 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £35000 per annum
