Duties

Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across school facilities, including sweeping, mopping, vaccing,dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene compliance.
Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and managing recycling procedures.
Use specialized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubber dryers, and carpet cleaners cleaners to achieve optimal results.
Follow health and safety protocols meticulously to create a safe environment for all staff and visitors.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution.
Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in school cleaning is highly desirable.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling techniques is preferred.
Reliable attendance record with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Prior experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubber dryer etc is an advantage.
