Overview

Join our vibrant team at Henry's Smokehouse as a Bar Staff member and become the heartbeat of a lively, welcoming environment! In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service to guests, craft refreshing drinks, and ensure every visitor has an unforgettable experience. Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following all food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked
Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while providing excellent customer service
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons
Collaborate with team members to handle busy periods efficiently and support overall bar operations
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
Ability to serve drinks confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact positively with diverse guests
A responsible attitude towards alcohol service, including understanding legal age requirements and responsible serving practices
