Full job description

Job Overview

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to secure an exciting and rewarding career in a well-established and recognised brand leader of high end garden parasols mainly supplying the commercial market. We manufacture the large parasols here in the UK and we manufacture the smaller parasols in China which are sold worldwide.

Responsibilities to include:

Processing sales orders and purchase orders
Dealing with online and trade customers
Assisting in the order supply chain import and export
Following up on orders and making sure customer service is of the highest standards from all office staff

Experience and Key Skills

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential
Demonstrated team management skills and experience supervising staff members
Extensive office experience including clerical and organisational tasks
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—alongside professional phone etiquette
Organisational skills capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently
Previous experience in an administrative or organisational capacity within a busy office environment is highly desirable
Experience in sales preferred
Must be computer literate with a good knowledge of Word / Excel / Email etc
Enthusiastic and eager to succeed
Strong team player
Hard-working and self-motivated
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Full UK driving license and own transport

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000.00 per year

We have our own factory in China, where we manufacture the strongest natural parasols in the world, made from laminated bamboo and aluminium. These are sold to both domestic and commercial leisure markets. We currently sell to over 30 different countries worldwide, including some very prestigious companies and household names.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
