At Flagship Services, we're committed to helping people thrive by ensuring our customers have safe, reliable heating and hot water in their homes, and we're looking for an experienced Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service across our properties.

Due to some exciting changes to our service provision we're currently recruiting for multiple roles across multiple areas, including: NR, CO, CB, IP, postcodes and surrounding areas.

Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent + company van and tools

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on heating systems across a range of homes. Working independently, you'll manage both planned and reactive work while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic heating systems.
diagnosing faults and delivering effective first-time fixes.
completing safety checks, certifications and accurate documentation.
providing an excellent customer experience in every home you visit.
participating in the on-call rota to support emergency repairs.
managing vehicle stock, materials and equipment effectively.
working safely in line with Gas Safe, OFTEC and company procedures.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with outstanding customer service.

You'll have:

proven experience in heating and plumbing maintenance, servicing and repairs.
current ACS and domestic gas qualifications including: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1 and CMDDA1.
Water Regulations (WREG) qualification.
full UK driving licence.
strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
excellent communication and customer service skills.
the ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
