The Talent Agent will play a key role in growing and developing InterTalent’s share of business in the Broadcast, Creators, Branding and Entertainment sector by partnering with our clients to create an innovative, collaborative and operational environment in which each and all can reach their fullest potential.

A key position in building further InterTalent’s offering as the most driven and creative representation of leading talent across the Broadcast, Digital and Entertainment business. The successful applicant will be working within our unrivalled team to support our clients in reaching their full potential in finding opportunities through innovation, collaboration and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic management of clients with support and access to leading decision makers (Broadcasters, production companies, commercial partnerships, brand building, IP creation, marketing, content creation, creative services, digital strategy, live events, publishing, corporate events).
Client Retention – ensuring top level service and career progression of all those we represent.
Client Recruitment – focus on evolving and bringing in new and high potential, high revenue generating talent.
Keeping across all the latest deals: forming and leveraging top level connections across the industry: sharing all information with the wider Entertainment team
High level Negotiations (with full support) for all relevant clients and overall responsibility for your own P&L.

Person Specification:

Significant Talent Management experience.
Proven track record.
Proven ability to attract and retain top level Clients.
Excellent industry knowledge and ability to use own initiative.
Clear and compelling communications skills.
Ability to build strong partnerships and deliver commercial results.
Highly levels of energy and motivation coupled with the ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding and fast paced environment.

Skill Set:

Outstanding communication skills.
Flawless organisational skills.
Good writing style and ability to construct compelling pitches, documents/decks.
A desire for a career, not a 9-5 attitude.
Able to work and learn under fast past conditions.
A willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
A genuine interest and good knowledge of the arts, entertainment and popular culture.
A good understanding of social media and how to leverage and use the platforms.
Ability to create career strategy and critical pathways for you to execute on behalf of your clients, based on you and your clients shared vision and goals.

You should be a creative, passionate but critical thinker and have a good understanding of how to work with a wide variety of people.

You have the creative freedom to design and roll out career plans for talented people in your own style and way, it is one of the most exciting jobs you can possibly do but you need to have a total devotion and unwavering desire to do it.

Thoughts of a Senior Talent Agent at InterTalent:

The role itself covers the day to day overseeing and management of artists careers in the entertainment industry. You should be willing to proactively source new work, income and opportunities for the clients by leveraging your contacts and building upon your network through meetings and introductions to key stakeholders in the business.

Management duties include: diary management, travel logistics, artist liaison, social media management, content creation, financial admin e.g. invoicing and contracts, attendance and accompanying the clients to TV records, photo shoots, events and red carpets, deal negotiation, proactive pitching and suggesting clients for new work, taking meetings with industry contacts.
