Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional and welcoming environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Restock minibar items, toiletries, and other amenities as required
Assist with laundry duties when necessary to ensure timely availability of clean linen and towels
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues

Experience

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Janitorial or cleaning experience is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays if required

Pay: £12.21-£16.47 per hour
