Full job description

Join Hopwells and become a key part of the team that keeps kitchens, schools, pubs and restaurants supplied across the region.

At Hopwells, our drivers are the face of the business. You are the person our customers see, the person they trust to turn up on time, and a big part of the service that keeps their day running smoothly.

We are looking for a dependable, friendly and hard-working 7.5 tonne multi-drop delivery driver to join our team at Castle Donington. This is a hands-on role with early starts, early finishes, and the support of a well-established depot team.

The hours of work are 35 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday.

What you will be doing

Completing multi-drop deliveries to schools, restaurants, pubs and other foodservice customers.
Checking your vehicle each day and reporting any defects promptly.
Loading, securing and unloading stock safely using the right equipment and safe working methods.
Making sure deliveries are accurate and keeping paperwork or handheld records up to date.
Providing a friendly, professional service at every customer stop.
Following all driver hours, tachograph, road safety, food safety and company procedures.

What we are looking for

A valid Category C1 driving licence.
A valid Driver CPC.
A valid digital tachograph card.
A reliable, safety-first approach and good timekeeping.
A positive attitude and a helpful manner with customers and colleagues.
The ability to work in a physically active, multi-drop role.
Previous multi-drop or foodservice delivery experience would be useful, but training and support will be provided.
