Care Coordinator Assistant (Part Time) – Supporting Care Redbridge Ltd

Location: Redbridge, London
Job Type: Part-Time

Supporting Care Redbridge Ltd is seeking a reliable, organised, and professional Care Coordinator Assistant (Part Time) to support the day-to-day human resources operations of our growing domiciliary care agency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and people skills who is passionate about supporting staff and contributing to high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate care packages and support services for service users, ensuring care is delivered safely, effectively, and in line with individual care plans
Schedule and allocate care staff to meet the needs of service users while ensuring continuity of care
Monitor staff availability, rotas, sickness, annual leave, and emergency cover arrangements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for service users and care staff in accordance with GDPR and company policies
Conduct regular reviews of care schedules and communicate changes to care staff, service users, and their families where required
Support the onboarding process of new care workers, including recruitment administration, compliance checks, and induction arrangements
Monitor staff compliance requirements, including DBS checks, right-to-work documentation, mandatory training, and professional certifications
Liaise with service users, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery
Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries, incidents, complaints, and concerns
Support the maintenance of care plans, risk assessments, and other care-related documentation
Assist with quality assurance processes, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements
Prepare reports and documentation as required by management
Promote person-centred care and ensure services are delivered in line with company policies, CQC standards, and relevant legislation
Participate in on-call duties where required
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in a Care Coordinator, Care Administrator, Senior Care Worker, or similar role within health and social care
Good understanding of domiciliary care, supported living, or residential care services
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience using care management and rota scheduling systems is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, GDPR, and care sector compliance requirements
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to changing situations
A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
