Job Summary

We are a very busy Tanning Salon with 15 sunbeds, we are seeking a reliable friendly and professional Receptionist / Receptionist Assistant, with experience of working in a very busy environment to join our team.

We are looking for one person to do 2 very different roles, some shifts you would be a receptionist and on other shifts you would be the receptionist's assistant.

Working as the receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organisational skills and effective communication are essential. The position is suitable for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
Organise customer tanning sessions using a paper base diary system
Provide safe tanning advise to all customers
Provide product advice to customers
Support other team members with salon cleanliness

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or front desk roles is preferred
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

When working as the receptionist assistant you will need lots of energy as there is lots of running around as we have 15 sunbeds, which are on 2 floors. Your job is to check every sunbed room immediately after customers leave, making sure the room is just as it should be for the next customer. You would also be responsible for making sure that we have lots of clean towels, along with other cleaning tasks and generally helping the reception area run smoothly

We are looking for someone to work around 2 to 3 six hour shifts per week, there is potential at times for there to be more shifts available. These will be mostly evening shifts 3 to 9pm, or weekend shifts which can be Saturday 930 to 1pm or 1pm to 7pm or Sunday 11am to 6pm. A rota is given in advance

You will be working as a receptionist with responsibility of managing a cleaning assistant or you will be the cleaning assistant for the shift. This is not a job just stood behind a desk, as we operate over 2 floors and have 15 sunbeds.
