Heartfelt Homecare Southport Ltd is looking for an exceptional Deputy Registered Care Manager to join our leadership team and support the Registered Manager in delivering a high-quality, person-centred homecare service.
This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity for an experienced care professional who combines strong leadership, compassion, professionalism and emotional intelligence. You will play a key role in supporting our staff, maintaining excellent standards of care and ensuring the people we support receive safe, dignified and personalised care.
The Role
As Deputy Registered Care Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and quality of the service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Person-Centred Assessments & Care Plans – Complete comprehensive assessments and develop detailed care plans that reflect each person's individual needs, preferences, choices and dignity.
- Quality Assurance & Auditing – Carry out regular audits and quality checks to maintain high standards and support full compliance with CQC regulations and requirements.
- Compassionate Staff Leadership – Lead, support and motivate staff with warmth, kindness and confidence, creating a positive and respectful team culture.
- Supervisions & Appraisals – Conduct structured, fair and supportive supervisions and appraisals, helping staff feel valued while encouraging professional development.
- Absence & Cover Coordination – Coordinate staff cover during sickness, annual leave and emergencies, ensuring continuity and reliability of care.
- On-Call Oversight – Support the management of the on-call system, responding to challenges calmly and providing clear communication and effective solutions.
- Daily Operational Support – Work alongside the Registered Manager to maintain service excellence, identify opportunities for improvement and uphold our caring ethos.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced care professional with a background in domiciliary care or care management
- A confident and compassionate leader who brings out the best in others

- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Confident making decisions and resolving problems
