Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Experienced Bar Person/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, delivering exceptional service with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere will ensure guests enjoy memorable moments, whether they’re relaxing with friends or celebrating special occasions. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked appropriately.
Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle payments responsibly.
Engage with guests to enhance their experience, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices in compliance with legal regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and support overall restaurant service.

Experience

Previous restaurant or bar experience is essential; familiarity with serving in fast-paced environments is highly valued.
Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills.
Understanding of food safety standards to ensure safe handling of beverages and related products.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts.
Proven ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Knowledge of alcohol serving regulations and responsible service practices is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
