Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude. This role involves serving drinks and food, ensuring guests have a memorable experience, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a lively and welcoming setting.

Duties

Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff
Ensure all serving areas are clean, organised, and well-stocked
Handle cash and process payments using the POS system
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in line with regulations
Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and warmly
Manage multiple tables effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management skills
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and guests

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is advantageous but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer needs
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
Friendly personality with good communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
