Full job description

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator within the Child Health and Child Protection Admin Team, supporting Children’s Services on a Fifewide basis.

The postholder will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Child Protection team, including supporting forensic and specialist medical examination reporting processes, alongside general administrative duties.

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in an administrative or office environment, ideally within a health or community setting. You must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, strong administrative ability, and a high level of accuracy when handling sensitive information.

The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, manage competing priorities, and use initiative within an agreed remit. Maintaining confidentiality at all times, in line with data protection and NHS Fife policies, is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is required. Experience of working with NHS systems such as MORSE, Datix and other data or audit systems would be advantageous.

A flexible and proactive approach is essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

This is a permanent, fulltime post, working Monday to Friday.
