Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

Developing and maintaining comprehensive performance management frameworks across the contract.
Analysing operational data and processes to identify areas for improvement and the root cause of problems.
Developing and delivering collaborative improvement plans with stakeholders.
Writing business cases, securing sponsorship and defining scopes for improvement projects before working with stakeholders to develop solutions, build them (personally, in-house or with 3rd parties), implement and realise benefits.
Writing and maintenance of reports to drive decision-making, using an analytics package (currently PowerBI).
Keeping the contract aligned with the BMS and divisional and group systems strategy. Administration of business systems and mobile solutions as part of the wider team.
Coaching and developing the team and the wider contract.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in performance management, business analysis, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and managing change.
Deep experience with performance measurement tools and methodologies.
Expert user of analytic packages and ability to write associated code, e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, SQL queries, Power Automate. Advanced Excel.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Relevant desirable qualifications: Lean Six Sigma, mathematical degree or equivalent.
