Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic working environment. This position offers valuable experience across different operational areas and is suitable for individuals seeking to develop their skills within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and organisation of materials and equipment for daily operations
Working on a fast paced production / packing line
Supporting production or logistical processes as required, including loading and unloading goods
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas to ensure health and safety standards are met
Operating basic machinery or tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols
Supporting team members with ad hoc tasks to facilitate efficient workflow
Reporting any issues or hazards promptly to supervisors for resolution
Participating in regular safety briefings and training sessions

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar operative or manual role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Physically fit, with the ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work responsibilities
