Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with a range of tools and materials. The Plumber will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards, contributing to the smooth operation of our clients' facilities.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete plumbing tasks effectively.
Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement appropriate solutions proactively.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
Conduct basic maths calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system calculations.
Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems as required.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair work.
Maintain detailed records of work performed for client documentation and future reference.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair work.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems and related machinery.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations.
Valid driving licence for commercial driving (preferred but not essential).
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
