About us

Rockar are a multi-award-winning digital retailer changing the way that people buy new cars. This role is based at our Head Office in South Newbald (within easy reach of Hull, Hessle and surrounding areas) YO43 4RW. We are inclusive, innovative and customer-centric, and our goal is to deliver an amazing customer experience to our Land Rover clients every day whilst working in a modern office setting with a relaxed atmosphere.

To support our continued growth and the expansion of our retail client base we are looking to expand our Online Experience Team. In this role you will guide clients through the Land Rover purchasing journey working on our online platform, aswell as live chat and telephone. The successful candidate will ideally have previous automotive experience and have a passion for cars in order to hit the ground running.

Online Experience Advisor - Full Time Permanent - working 45 hours a week (including Saturdays on a rota basis).

In this exciting role you are usually the first person our client comes into contact with whilst starting their online journey in purchasing their new Land Rover vehicle. You will be fully trained how to use our online platform and will guide the client through to checkout, ensuring they are confident in their purchase and advising on aspects of their new vehicle when required. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport with others quickly, show great attention to detail and a real passion for meeting clients’ needs and expectations. Interest in cars is certainly an advantage in this role.

As part of this role you will be expected to attend training courses with Jaguar Land Rover which could involve overnight stays and occasional trips to our Boutique Store in Canary Wharf.

If you’ve had previous prestige brand sales or online customer service experience, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing…

Responding to inbound client calls & messages relating to vehicles and potential orders
Outbound calls to follow up leads & contacting our own current client base
Establishing rapport and trust with the client to support potential buying decisions
Updating the CRM with client contact information for future marketing activities
Advising clients regarding vehicle options, specifications, finance options, vehicle trade ins and vehicle prices
Helping clients to create online accounts and walking them through the website as needed
Liaising with the Store Team who are based in Canary Wharf regarding any queries and questions
Processing finance applications and dealing with any queries raised by clients or finance providers
Checking vehicle stock for vehicle availability using the manufacturing system
Responding to vehicle orders placed online via the Rockar platform or in Store
Proactively keeping clients informed, and also responding to any inbound calls or emails with regard to their new vehicle throughout their journey from point of order to delivery

About you….

You will consider yourself to be a confident and outgoing experienced sales or customer service advisor with a background in dealing with clients directly and processing information in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will also have automotive experience.

Minimum of 2 years previous customer sales/service experience
Experience of working in an online sales environment is a definite advantage
Knowledge of the Automotive Industry (in any role) is also an advantage
Be confident and outgoing
Highly organised and structured
Enjoy working to and meeting (sometimes challenging) deadlines
Customer focused at all times
Familiar with working in a targeted environment
Logical with a high level of attention to detail
Be comfortable explaining complicated things in an everyday way
Great listener who is personable and willing to adapt to different styles
Pro-active and likes to get things done
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Driven and highly motivated

Valid UK Driving License
