Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Deputy Manager to support the effective operation of our Brand new 4 bedded Residential Children’s Home: The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting the management team, overseeing daily activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Previous experience in managerial or senior role is desirable, as the role involves mentoring and guiding staff to uphold organisational standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic environment committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Duties

Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations to meet organisational objectives.
Support staff development through coaching, training, and mentoring, with an emphasis on teaching best practices.
Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with organisational policies and quality standards.
Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures.
Handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels satisfaction.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes for team members.
Prepare reports on operational activities and assist in analysing performance data for continuous improvement.
Participate in meetings and contribute ideas for strategic planning and organisational growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within Childcare/Adult care.
Strong background in leadership or training roles, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to team management.
Flexibility to adapt to changing organisational needs and priorities.
Relevant qualifications or certifications, such as NVQ Level 3 is required, NVQ Level 5 is advantageous but not essential. This role is vital for ensuring smooth operational functions while fostering a positive environment centred on professional development and service excellence.
Drivers licence is essential.

Pay: £36,000.00 per year
