Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within residential, commercial, and industrial settings. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are essential for effective coordination and transportation between sites. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for colour, precision in execution, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or any issues encountered.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
